SYNOPSIS
From as early as we can remember we're constantly observing and making sense of the world around us. The evolution of human colour vision in Homo sapiens produced a trichromatic view of the world in comparison to a majority of other mammals that only have a dichromatic view. Early human ancestors are believed to have viewed the world using UV vision as far back as 90 million years ago.
What we want to imagine in this film is if we instead developed infrared or "thermal" vision. Discovering the world around us from the earliest moments of childhood, our family, your backyard and the people and animals around you. This film starts from the most macro and intimate things in life and build outwards in scale. From the womb, to the city you live in and further outwards to the planet we live on.

technical process
TECHNICAL PROCESS
Infrared cameras come in a large variety of scale and quality. For pre-production and research we will use a infrared camera that attaches to your smart phone to begin exploring and discovering the thermal world.
While shooting we will rent a military grade infrared camera for one week as we capture our story. For large scale stuff we may not be able to capture ourselves in camera like the earth for example, we may purchase pre-recorded footage or use 3d modeling artists.
PABLO DYLAN'S PERFORMANCE
Because we are shooting on infrared technology, no lighting or traditional film talents are needed on set to capture Dylan's performance. Therefore with some guidance from myself I propose purchasing Dylan an infrared camera and having his performance shot remotely.
Serendipitously cutting seamlessly into our film at minimal cost and compromise. High quality infrared cameras can be affordable and are even available as iPhone accessories. See below iPhone accessory example.
